Typically I ensure that students (ages 3 - 21) with disabilities, or suspected disabilities, receive the special education services, in the appropriate placement, that they are entitled to pursuant to applicable state and federal laws. I have years of experience in this legal specialty area and I am a compassionate and zealous advocate. Most parents who seek assistance have experienced a breakdown of trust and communication with district administrators. I strive to build a better ongoing working relationship between parent clients and district administrators while resolving disagreements at any stage of the special education and due process continuum. I am cognizant that my clients are families and that the legal process is an expensive one; therefore, I always try to bear the cost in mind when providing legal advice and options.
